Project Overview

This project was one of three music videos we directed for Agajuan’s debut album, Village Van Gogh. The creative vision called for a thoughtful balance of spontaneity and precision, with careful attention given to color, casting, wardrobe, location selection, and shot composition. Every creative decision was developed collaboratively to ensure the visuals authentically reflected the tone and storytelling of the music.

Production Process

1. Pre-Production

During pre-production, we secured filming locations, coordinated permits, developed shot lists, and assisted with scheduling cast and crew. Camera systems, lenses, lighting, and supporting equipment were also prepared and tested to ensure an efficient production day.

2. Production

Principal photography was completed in a single day across two locations, primarily using natural light to achieve a natural visual look and feel. Most scenes were captured on a tripod to create clean, compact frames, while select handheld sequences were intentionally used to complement the energy and spontaneity of Agajuan’s performance.

3. Post-Production

Post-production was completed over approximately three weeks. The first week focused on picture lock, color grading and shot selection, while the remaining time was dedicated to refinements, and final edits. Deliverables also included additional marketing assets optimized for social media and promotional campaigns.

4. Delivery

The completed music video was delivered to Agajuan and distributed through our VEVO publishing partners. As part of the release process, we facilitated the creation of an Official Artist Channel (OAC), allowing his existing YouTube channel to merge with VEVO and establish a unified presence as a music artist.

Upon project completion, clients receive an organized Dropbox archive with lifetime access to their project files, ensuring their assets remain secure and accessible for future use.
